hello i'm 44 yrs and i just got married 8 month  and i had been taking clonazepam 1 yrs and i miss my period 2 month Nov and Dece  2011  than Jan i got my period back 2012 up until Aug 9 2012. and now it's Nov and i still don't have a period so what should i do.i also take other medicine trazodone 150mg/ sertraline 100mg/so could you  please give me so feed back.Hollywood68./ Nov 19 2012

The causes for missed periods can be hormonal imbalances where in the ovaries may not be producing eggs and hence the uterus may not be getting the right stimulation for menstruation. Other possibilities are thyroid disorders, where an imbalance of the hormone thyroxine can cause menstrual irregularities, and abnormally high levels of prolactin can also cause missed periods. The other causes could also be due to uterine growths or fibroids, endometriosis and pelvic inflammatory diseases to name a few. So, please consult your doctor and discuss these possibilities with him.

every time  i took a home  pregnant test  it come back negative so i don't take it anymore and my fertile Dr said i was not ovulate  and my Progesterone was to on July 31 2012.1.7 on July 10 2012 Estradiol 46pg/ml,LH  was 39mlu/ml and on progesterone 1.2 thats was in July,the 18 th of July progesterone 0.6ng/ml now Aug 8 2012 FSH was 24.9,LH was 38.5 and progesterone was 0,6.Estradio was 92 that's in Aug,now Sept 26 th 2012 FSH was 64.8 LH was 79.8,Progesterone 0.5 EStradio 44 that's Sept so i got other test to take in Dece 17 th maybe i use dollar home pregnant test, now you said clonazepam is addict i stop taking for 3 month when i started the herbal and it did nothing to me.thank you contact me

i am not a Dr but i am a medical assistant, i can say this, you may be going thru early menapause, and if not to be really sure go buy a kit to see if you are pregnant for sure, and then if so, you will have to stop taking the medication, but make sure to talk to your Dr before stoping any medications cuz i am on clonazepam and my Dr is weening me off, because you can have a siezure if you stop cold turkey and possibly die. this is very serious   please speak to your Dr, but first take a first urine test on a test strip to see if you are indeed pregnant, if so congratulations, but benzo's like clonazepam are very hard to get off of, so please dont do it alone, thanks
