there you are El....and wow yes were runnin neck and neck..this will be your 19th day and my 26.th..yeah for us!
NO I've never had a smoking dream either, ya like Kathy says 'enjoy' it, lol.
I too in previous quits have found the urge to just hit out of nowhere at times and got real powerful right around this 3 week period, physiological?
another clean day♥
El, honey, hope you're feeling better by now. I'm sorry, I was half asleep this morning and missed the "freak out" part, even though it's your first sentence. I have never had a smoking dream - not ever - but I know that would freak me out, too!! Especially at the beginning of a quit!
Kathyjo...and I even got my Hair Cut Today!
Stay strong, El! You're doing great! Horrible headache will get better and so will the anxiety. You won't feel like this forever. That's what I told myself every single day at first.
Big Supportive Hugs to you, El!...♥
Congrats, El! So proud of you! I read somewhere you said you weren't thinking in forever terms, but rather "just for today." That's what I had to do too. I just wasn't doing well thinking "forever" or "never another puff." Just had to take one day at a time and so far, so good. Isn't whyquit, great? I used to have a meter like Kathy Jo, but when we reloaded the Windows program, I lost the meter and now hesitate to upload another and take up room on the PC, but it's very exciting to see how much many cigs not smoked, money saved, etc.
Keep up the great work, El. One Day at a Time.
p.s. Having some cravings myself, today. They seem to hit out of the blue.
I'm sure, given time, the dream won't freak you out as much El : )
Congrats on your quit time, good for you!
Jade, you know you are doing good when your cravings aren't freaking you out : )
