20 months smoke free

After years of being a heavy smoker ,I quit 20 months ago .When we found out our son had cancer . I have not smoked since . I would have thought I could never quit ,then all it took was one sentence from a doctor to change your whole life. He is doing great and at this point is cancer free  and I have not smoked in 20 months .So some good things came out of the scariest event of our families life .We are lucky........

Many, many congrats on your quit!!  How strong you are!  Thank God your son is Ok.  I know you're CL on another forum so it's clear you have faced and matched more than one demon in  the last 2yrs.  You are simply amazing and SUCH an inspiration.
