Trying to quit/trying to get pregnant...HELP!

Ok everyone I am here because I am a smoker who is currently undergoing fertility treatments to try and get pregnant (which I have had problems with now for 3 years.) I have been smoking since I was 15 and now I am 25. Time to quit. I have generalized anxiety disorder (I take no meds, but cognitive behavioral therapy worked well) the thing is when I go to quit I get all anxious and depressed. I have tried several times but have never made it even through 1 day of not smoking since age 15. HELP! how do you get thru the first day!!!!

I used Chantix. I responded to another post regarding the weight gain and I believe it was you who posted it.
Good luck!

visit: whyquit.com and really read through all of the articles....it will give you a new perspective on your quit. You really haven't smoked for long so one can assume that your anxiety might play a more importany role in your quit......most of us who smoke/smoked do have anxiety but it is interesting to note that smoking causes anxiety! After 3 months, I can see that my panic/anxiety is pretty much gone.
Have you considered that smoking might be messing with your fertility?
Good luck!
