I've gotta quit too...I usually find it easy to quit...I can go for 30 days...and for some mysterious reason start again....I once was at a party in Joisey (can't remember what exit) and drank a lot and partook in some other stuff and I must have smoked 3-4 packs...didn't smoke again for 6  years...never partook in the other stuff again...

Good work on wanting to stop. It is almost 5 months for me now. Hubby and I quit at the same time and we are still married :) flmagi is right. nictione only stays in the body for 3 days. I tell what really helped me. is www.whyquit.com not the horror stories on the left the other side. Really good stuff. Download a meter, they are free and will tell you how much money you saved, how much time you have gotten back on your life. What you body is doing now. They are really great and they are free.
Let me know if you need anything and you can do this!!

Nicotine is out of your system in 3 days, so you'll have 3 days of actual withdrawals. After that it's all mental. Cravings for a smoke only last, tops 5 minutes (they say actually only 30 seconds). So hang in there, it'll get better soon. Keep yourself busy and change what your doing when you get a craving. Even the most minor change will take the craving away.
Good luck. I start a quit again this Saturday.
