Gee, I'd like to join. I thought I clicked this group last night to join, but it didn't pop up on my shortcuts, so after I post this I'll try again.
I'm going to be doing IVF again in about May. I have a son born in 2007 (IVF), and have had 3 other tries since, one of which ended in miscarriage. This is the last year we can try due to my age, and I've been sweating the decision. :)

well, my 2nd IUI was today @ 11:00am. I was getting a bit anxious because it was 30 minutes behind, & I knew I had already O'd late last night into early AM!
My hubbys count was excellent;) 80 mil post wash with over 80% motility. Yesterday was good @ 43 mil, wish the days were swapt;). Oh well! Hopefully his little swimmers caught my eggies;o)
I'm for sure very hopeful, but being realistic too. This will be our last attempt, at least until July, which I'll be 41 then!
Not sure if I already mentioned this here, I know I did on the fertility forum, but I took a 6 day sooner ( didn't know they had one, it's new;) EFR , 1DPO trigger, i really wanted to see a BFP, it could very well be the last one I ever see from me ;-/
my hubby thinks I'm nuts lol. Even though I know it's the trigger, it just makes me smile each time I see it. I have it on top of my jewelry box, on my bathroom counter;). Silly maybe, but it's sort of like closure....after 10 months of BFNs, I just wanted to see 2 DARK pink lines o_o
Here's to a fun 2WW!!! It's gonna be LONGGGGGGG nothing like ovulating on CD11 YIKES! & my LP is 16 days long! But I'll get a beta on march 12th, CD14

10dpo, and I'm feeling about as symptom-free as a person can be. Tested just because why not, the test was there. BFN of course.
I "cancelled" a trip (half work, half fun) because it would overlap with the blood test. I say "cancelled" because I still haven't gotten around to cancelling the tickets (I'd be leaving in the middle of the week, and the next RE appt is Friday). I'll be getting the definitive BFN the same day as the big out-of-town event. You can probably see where my thoughts are headed: maybe it's the RE appt I should cancel and just get back to doing work events and travelling and the other things that used to keep my time filled.
I should have known to stay away from POAS-ing. Ignorance is bliss.
I am wishing for much much more positive early results (or on-time results) for everyone else.

As for me, I'm 3DPO, but unless an extreme miracle happens, I'm out of the game until DH comes home in April. Its highly ironic, when I needed my O to hold off just a day or two for him to get home; it came early. So then I thought I could hit the next one if it came early again. Of course, then it came later. Sometimes I think my body remembers all it went through during pregnancy, and says "Oh hell no, you're not putting me through that again." LOL

11dpo, 8dp3dt: Crazy, very symbolic dream last night about being stuck on a bus full of elderly women, that refused to stop and let me get off where I wanted to be. Then it turned into a detective drama, then I was sorting some laundry, but the symbolic part was pretty long and elaborate, not to mention disturbing and frustrating. The detective drama was a little disturbing too, but it had a pretty good cast.
Today I have ZERO symptoms (I want the fun of sore boobs, bad taste in mouth, stinky pee, and dizzy spells!), but am holding onto a lot of HOPE.
Ditto the hopes that everyone has a good week. And an extremely fast one, for those in the tww.

Sorry I haven't been here for awhile, and I will tell you all why. I did find out what was going on, we were pregnant. I started miscarrying last week. I felt lost for awhile, and that it was my fault, but my DH reassured me and was a big support. Yes, we are still ttc.
I am just a bit confused now, but this cycle we are just being us. I have to begin calculating my cycles again, then when I know they are regular again, we are going to try a round of clomid. I am still on the same regimen I was before only I have changed it up a bit.
Everyday I take:
a prenatal vitamin
1000mg of flaxseed oil
and have added 1000mg of maca
DH takes:
a multi-vit
1000mg of maca
I do know I need to cut my caffine intake and drink a glass of OJ everyday.
If any of you have more input or other ideas please let me know.

Are you taking Maca via capsule? I've used it in powder form, but haven't been consistent with it. I use it in shakes that I make. I was just using it for energy, but someone else...actually, I think 2 other ladies that I can remember were using it and got BFPs.

Well, that was fun while it lasted.
AF is making her ugly appearance tonight. I called the doctor the minute they opened this morning and begged for a progesterone prescription. They didn't call me back until after 3 this afternoon and told me to come in for blood work and to pick up my prescription. When I got there, they said they'd give me the prescription when my blood work came back- in two days... grrrr!!!! I had my sleepy, cranky dd with me, was having a blood sugar crash, and didn't have it in me to fight anymore- plus the receptionist said she couldn't interrupt the dr while she was with a patient. Came home, got the tell-tale ache in my left hip I get every cycle, started spotting red.
I sure am glad all these medical professionals can be so cavilier with my baby's life. It is infuriating and heartbreaking to fight so hard for a prescription I KNOW I need just to be refused over and over. Sad and going to bed.
AF is making her ugly appearance tonight. I called the doctor the minute they opened this morning and begged for a progesterone prescription. They didn't call me back until after 3 this afternoon and told me to come in for blood work and to pick up my prescription. When I got there, they said they'd give me the prescription when my blood work came back- in two days... grrrr!!!! Steph: I don't think I've said "hi" before. I'm so sorry you are miscarrying. I hope it wasn't too painful and doesn't go on too long. Please don't think it was anything to do with caffiene or anything else you did. At our age it is just the risk we run.

Well, AF has been reduced to tiny brown spotting. I'm hoping it's her trying to start and the baby saying "not this month, witch!" My back is aching so I'm not too optimistic. I just keep slathering myself with progesterone cream and praying.

I deleted the pic...didn't know the comments would go too. ;o) At any rate, I was still getting extremley light lines...think it's a no go. Sherrie made a good point about the color and time factor (which I was already thinking might be the problem). The color was there (it wasn't gray), but it wasn't taking 30 secs to come up.
Silvana also commented that she used a $ store brand, it came up neg, she tossed it, but ck'd back 30mins later & got a light line. She also said she ONLY got light lines...never really got dark.
I really did get some good feedback & really appreciated all of it. So...I'm back to waiting to see if/when AF shows...due nlt Monday.

I'm back taking a seat again in the ttc train. M/C was complete February 14, so now the waiting and frustration, and hoping comes back again...yay.

I didn't realize I was still on this list. :) How nice to be included, as if it would actually have even the slightest chance!!! I wish I was wrong, but I think that I am out.
Just an update. Right now I am on cd24. Did trigger on cd14 with one big follie on the left (good side) FINALLY!! Waiting to test this weekend but actually sort of feeling prego!!??
Just a quick update:
I'm in IVF cycle #2 (first cycle pregnant with twins - stopped growing at 8 weeks), did stim meds for 15 days - had second ultrasound today which showed 2 mature follicles. Have decided to cancel the IVF for this month (not a very good response to the stim meds) - will take the trigger shot tomorrow morning and then have "date" night on Thursday night. Will then enter the 2ww!! Wish me luck.
It's disappointing that I am not responding better to the stim meds - although I know it only takes one egg!!
