Abnormal period

ok well this is sort of a personal question but I'm getting really worried.
So I'm 14 years old. I got my first period on my 13th birthday. Anyway after my first period I didn't have it again for 4 months, and then after that I had it all though school and it was real heavy those 8 months. up until march when I had it unexpectedly and it only lasted one day. Right now it's September and I haven't had my period at all for 7 months. I have had a few cramps during the 7 months, I'm a virgin and I'm really kind of starting to feak out. has this happened to anyone else? If so did it even out?
I would really like some advise thanks :)

Hi,
I think you should talk to an endocrinologist and get your hormone levels checked. Some irregularies in the beginning is OK, but a gap of seven months looks too long. All that you need may be some simple medications to normalise the cycle.

It may take a few years for your period to even out, since you have just started getting it. If you are having problems, talk to your mom about it. Though it is completely normal in the beginning for it to be very irregular. Good luck.

I have the same problem too! I haven't gotten mine in over 4 months and this happens all the time. When i do get my period it will only last a couple days so I'm wondering if i have a disorder or something. I posted a question about it so if somebody responds to mine with a solution ill tell you about it!
