Have I started my period?

Not sure if I have started my period or not because last night I went pee no blood in the toilet but yet there was blood on the paper. I put a pad on just in case. I woke up this morning changed the pad and there was blood on it. Today I put another pad on and there was blood in it. I went pee again no blood in pee but some on the toilet paper. Should I be concerned?

This sounds like a normal period, maybe a light one, but normal.  Nothing to be concerned about.
