Sharp pains in my back??

Hi, I have a problem.

I'm 13 and as far as I know I am in perfect health, except for this pain I get in my left side. It is really sharp and the only way for me to lighten the pain is by holding my breath for around 27 seconds. It's been happening for around a year and lately it has been happening twice a month and it hurts so bad I tear up a little. Please help if you know what this might be.

Can you talk to a school nurse? What about a grandparent?

Every time I talk to my mother about this she just laughs and says it's just me being silly. I can't talk to her about anything without her laughing it off, so I came here.

You need to speak to your parents about this pain. it could be something as simple as a muscle issue or a more serious thing such as a kidney problem. Talk to your mother.
