Hi! im 15/girl
and i have had pinworms for about 2years now on and off! when i get them i have millions! i hate them im a teenage girl and it is so frustrating having them especialy when im on my period! i even have them rite now -_-
and im on my period too it is so Gross! i havn't had a good night sleep in so long because it is so itchy down there. and yes i have bought medication so many times and they just come back -_- , i also keep getting shooting pains under my belly button area and across is this something to do with the pinworms? i hope someone can help me:) i would also  like to know if there are any thing i can do at home to kill them like foods i can eat or not eat?

The first thing to do is tell your parents because everyone needs to be treated and then treated again in 2 weeks to avoid reinfestation. Have you parents make a doctor's appointment for you, to confirm that the medicine is strong enough and that your are in good health. Shower every morning because the adult worm lays eggs at night and will be in your underwear. Change all your clothes daily and put them in the wash, not lying around to be reinfested. They live 2 weeks in clothing, bedding and carpets. You did not get them originally because you were not clean but you will keep getting them if you are not clean and you do not take the medicine, again it is Mandatory you take it again in 2 weeks because they will come back and you will have to go through the process all over again!!!

I have pin worms ... I don't know who to tell or what to do . I'm 13/girl . I don't know what to do .... :(

I don't know what to do! I am 15 and I just contracted   pin worms again! I don't want to tell my parents because I don't want them to be disgusted with me for getting it a second time I don't know what I did I am very clean. Anybody have some natural remedies for me? :)

You really need to visit your doctor ASAP! He or she will give you medicine stronger than what is available over the counter. Pin Worms are nasty! Many people have them or have had them and don't even know it. Mostly children get them.

And another reason your not getting rid of them is because if you have them it is likely your whole house hold has them. pin worm eggs are microscopic and are easily spread. So your family will also need to be treated for pin worm.

Keep things clean shower once or twice a day. and after you and you household get on medication wash your bedding frequently. Also clean you house really good and wash all materials.

Although you can get pin worms many different ways It is possible that you may have gotten pin worms from walking around out side barefoot because pin worms can live on their own in the ground or in a host.

As for food... Cranberry Juice might help flush your system but i doubt it will get rid of the pin worms.

AND WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T ITCH! That's how they spread!
