Overdosage

Hi I'm 13 years old and I got on my period yesterday. I took 2 noproxen sodium 220mg. I took my first pill around 7:30a.m 8:00a.m. I took my second pill around 2:30p.m.3:00p.m. On the bottle it says take 1 pill every 8-12 hours. It also says you may take 2 pills within the first hour. I took 1 the first hour and the second 1 about 7- to 7 1/2 hours later. Now I'm having minor heart burn. And I read the side affects of what could happen if you overdosed. I want to have I overdosed? I don't want to die. I also wanted to know does side affects subside or go away when you take any kind of medication? I really need help! Please tell what's wrong

Good for you that you are concerned but I think you are ok.  If you aren't any better, please call your dr.  As a nurse, we are taught to know all medication we are giving, when to give and all side effects.  I only want to say for any future medication you take to read the label before taking.  I am glad you wrote and I hope you are feeling better today.  Wishing you the best.
