girly exams
(didnt know where to put this.. sorry) when should you go to the gynocolegist? and what do they do at the exams? ***details please:)***i really have/want to know
they recomend going as soono as you start getting periods or when you become sexually active.
when you start having sex or if there are problems. i went to the gyny for the first time when i was 18 to get b/c to help regulate af and the cramps. they do a pelvic exam and a pap smear. they check to make sure everything is ok and working normally. they also do a breast exam to make sure you don't have lumps or anything abnormal growin. it's ackward but necessary. after the inital first exam you go normally once a year for a pap smear and pelvic exam or more often if there are issues or you're pregnant. seeing as how i'm pregnant i go to my ob/gyn 1-2 a month.
