Common question, one I've myself asked. Do yourself a favor and try not to get addicted to the ignoring in itself. That probably doesn't make sense.. Sometimes people who have lingering resentment at an ex or unresolved issues, they meet someone like that again and they simply can't let go. It's like having your hand caught in a net. Some guys it's a mystery what they're thinking, they can turn from one to another but in a more malicious way. It's hard to determine a reason, maybe he had feelings for someone else (I know the thought hurts), maybe he's having family or personal issues and can't deal with everything at once, maybe commitment and so much emotion "spooked" him. He needs to distance himself in order to figure things out in his head. But don't turn it inward, it's not your fault this is happening, I know it seems like empty words but sometimes it just happens. Two people just don't click anymore, he may even come back, given time. Maybe not back to you or how it was, but to where he'll stop ignoring you and maybe explain. Can't predict the future, or boys lol. Try to live your life normally, do what you can, be around people, write if it helps or find something that does. Try to be patient. You're young still, your heart will heal no matter what happens, you just have to give it time to.

I will tell you what I tell my boys.  There is nothing I can say to help you get over your boyfriend but I do think time heals.  There are many people who had a boyfriend(s) and boyfriends until they met the exact, perfect person.  That being said, the right one doesn't hurt you or atleast they are really sorry if they do LOL!(no one is perfect).  That's the great thing about dating.  It's a learning experience.  You date different people and you see in different realtionships which qualities you like in each person and ones you don't.  Then you meet the one that has the most in what you want and you to them.  Don't let this get you down.  You don't want someone who is like that, right?  Look at the good things and the bad and then go out with someone different that may have more of what you are looking for to make you happy.  I look back and I am so happy I didn't marry the wrong ones and I am glad they didn't work out because I would never have met my husband.  Sure didn't feel very good at the time and I am sorry for that.  But, you are on a long and exciting mission.  Goodluck!

How long have you been apart? I won't pry but I'm an excellent listened and always the go to person among my friends. Even my exes that I don't necessarily have any lingering issues with but aren't exactly friends talk to me about stuff. So if a friend is what you need, here's one. It's a support group after all yeah?
