Confused , & Curious .

I constantly have unprotected sex , but i don't need advice on how to run my life right now . I was due for my period on August 15th , My birthday actually -- but it didn't come . Today is now the 16th , & i thought that i might be pregnant . On the day my period was due , i had a kind of clearish discharge , as if i was ovulating ( But i already have ) . it was slimy in texture , had no odor , no burn , so i know it's not an infection . I ran to the bathroom w. a pad , assuming my period had arrived , but it didn't . Today i tested for pregnancy , but it was negative . I also have tender breasts , Slight cramping , & lower back pain . I try to ignore it , but it doesn't help . Any idea what the clear discharge might have been , Could i be pregnant , & was it too early too test ? Please & thank you , I'd appreciate any insight .

Doctors have patient confidentiality rules they must follow, so they can't tell your mother. You would have to tell her if you are pregnant. If you are not trying to get pregnant, then you really have to do something else other than having unprotected sex. The extra stress you are putting on your body now from worrying isn't good for you. Take a test in 2 weeks. If it's negative it would be wise to get on some form of b/c and ALWAYS use condoms. If you're trying to get pregnant this is NOT the forum for it. I would suggest the pregnancy 18-34 forum.

Well thats good! I have 2 already this would be my 3rd not sure if I am but I'm waiting for my 2 weeks to test! I hope it turns out the way you want!!!!

My mom is not one to judge , so if i am pregnant , she'll understand . i would like top be the one to tell her myself though . as for the bf , he's not leaving anytime soon . he's just as curious as i am . today is the second day after my period was due , & no sure sign of my period . this waiting is killing me , lol .

I know! It's hard to be waiting! Will everything be ok for you? I noticed you were concerned about your mom finding out...Is BF in the pic too? Even if not I'm sure everything will turn out fine!!!

The lady at the counter when i purchased the test said the same thing .
I think i will wait about another week or two , if my period doesn't happen , i'll test again . I'm more afraid of going to the hospital or doctor , where the idea of being pregnant is out in the open , & my mom will know on the spot .

I've read the discharge could be an early sign of pregnancy , But i try not to convince my body that i'm pregnant yet .

you prob need to wait at least a week before testing again and if you still don't have a period and come up negative then go to the doc and get a blood test..good luck I think!
