Help with parents

Im 20 and i have really uptight parents. I texted my mom and told her i have a surprise but she quickly started to panic. I had to quickly lie and tell her something else. Im 5 weeks pregnant and the baby daddy hasn't said a word to me. Ive told my sisters and one of his sisters. And at this point idk what i should do. Should i wait to tell her. Or should i contact his mom and tell her about the situation and see if she'll come help me tell my parents?. This is my 1st pregnancy and his 2nd.

Congrats at least ur 20 instead of 17 lik me im expecting a baby within 29 days im a single teenage mom and a senior the father of my baby dont even look at me or talk to me when he sees me its a harder situation for me ill tell ur family and his make this situation into a postive though i will tell u it will be hard when u see couples together and happy with their expecting baby when ur alone but pray and put it all in gods hands and hell be the one to walk u down the path u see to have no light :) good luck sweetie

I wouldn't wait to tell them, I would either contact his mom and see if she can help through the situation, or take a close friend with you when you tell them. Congrats!

It's hard telling parents your expecting. Maybe it would be a good idea to ask the father of your babies mom to go with you to help ease tension.
