Can I be pregnant ?

Hey, I'm 19 years old. I was on Depo for three consecutive shots. My last shot was April of 2012. April first of this year ,2013, I spotted and cramped very bad. Just for that one day tho. May 23-28 , I had a cycle. My boyfriend and I have unprotected sex, I didn't come on my next cycle (June 20). Am I pregnant or is the Depo still in effect ? I have had bad headaches and slight cramping. Please help !

Oh, well if you've taken three pregnancy tests and are past (and it sounds LONG) past when your period was due, then doubtful that you are pregnant.   There are indeed other reasons why a woman is late for her period.  

Make sure to use birth control dear.  Depo shots last THREE MONTHS only.  good luck

Thanks for responding. Ive taking three hpts and they all were negative. Ive also been constipated and painful stomsch aches and some sharp pains.

Hi there.  I believe the depo shot would no longer be working.  Planned parenthood says the shot is for three months of protection.  The headaches and cramping could be from pms and periods can be late.  But if you had unprotected sex at the time you were ovulating, I don't think you were protected and could have conceived.  You need to take a pregnancy test.  good luck
