negative hpt, late and light bleeding

back in may i found out i wasnt pregnant after all but now i've had intercourese again and im over a week late but i had some very light red blood (almost pinkish) and then what looked kind of grey today with bad cramps when going to the toilet. i've had advice to take a hpt if the bleeding still doesnt get like my normal period bleeding. what could this be? any ideas or advice?

If your cramping i think it could be a good sign your about to start. I have done that before but found out it was old blood. But if you still havent started in the next week i would take a test. If i were you i would get a clear blue pregnancy test they are more accurate and say pregnant or not pregnant so you dont get confused but i think you should start in a few days if your cramping but if your pregnant you could be spotting and that can happen during early pregnancy.

i don't normally get cramps at all with my period or before it. could it be something else?
