1st gyno app pregnant!

tomorrow i go.

what happens?
can my boyfriend go back w/ me?

i'm a little over 4 weeks (i think) will i get my first u/s tomorrow?

oh and make sure you get your blood work done ASAP!!! what my ob did was write me a "prescription" and gave me a list of labs/offices that do it for their office. since my appointment was in the morning i went and had my blood work done that same day. 3 days later they had the results and got me the rest of my prescriptions (i had to take an iron supplement because i'm anemic and my iron levels were super low)

lots happen. yes your bf can be in the room with you. they will most likely do an internal exam to check your cervix and do a pap smear. they will take a urine sample and schedule you to get your blood work done. no they most likely will not do an u/s. they'll probably schedule that for your 2nd trimester. (i had my first official u/s done at 13 weeks) the doc might measure your belly (i didn't have my first appointment until my 2nd trimester so i was rather large by then).
