Born without a thyroid gland (congenital Hypothroidism)

Have u ever had any other complications Shauna? Im 22 too and I Was also kinda wondering what my chances are of having a child... I myself do not want children and plenty of people have tried to change my answer (my mom)... I was on Birth control pills for 5 years and it killed me... My mood... I was a wreck then they told me that it tricked my bloodwork, just like it tricked me body into thinking i was prego... Besides condoms, Do you think that Mirena (IUD) would do the trick? I Wanted to know how fertile I was but.. I dont think that you could help me there lol

I was born without a thyroid gland. I was out of the hospital for a week when they called my mom to bring be back after i was born.  I am 22 yrs old now and i am still taking synthroid for it. The hardest was when i was preg. with my son they couldnt keep my levels under control. I would like to hear from anyone else that has the same. I havent ever talked to anyone else that is the same
