TSH level 161.5 (lab ref 0.4 - 4.5) total T4 0.8 (lab ref 4.5 -12)?

I was off synthroid 150 mcg daily for several months as needed to get labs before refill.  Had been on that dose for 20+ years.  Resumed 150mcg daily.  Retest 6 weeks.  Is there anything else I should do or should I ask for additional tests, or just wait for retest?

What was the purpose of getting you off the Synthroid for several months?    What tests were done at that time?  Why were you re-started on a lower dose?  

What tests will be done in 6 weeks?

They will retest tsh and t4.  I am on same dose 150mcg.  Had to get lab work before they would refill the synthroid.  One issue to another caused me to delay going to primary and it was about 3months I was off medication, until my restless leg started bothering me daily, figured it was related to the thyroid and finally went the other day.  They called with results today.
