thank you barb. my FT4 level is 9.63 where as normal range is between 0.3 to 0.7
Forgot to mention......... please post your actual thyroid hormone test results and be sure to include reference ranges, since those vary lab to lab and must come from your own report.

Low FT4 will not cause you to gain weight. FT4 is converted to FT3, which is the hormone, actually, used by individual cells. Even though your FT3 is in the "normal" range, it might not be normal for you.
Some of us have a harder time losing weight gained due to hypothyroidism. Exercise and proper eating are the only ways to do it. You have to eat expend more calories than you take in. I practically have to starve in order to lose weight.
