Well - my day started of with a visit to the breast center for a repeat mammo and us (6 month re-check). Interesting is that the nodule that "disappeared" in July, has miraculously come back - appearing to have never left in the first place. Still roughly the same size and at the exact location as before, although, in my untrained eye, it looks a little different on the screen to me. Wonder what the new report will say.
Follow that with my ENT appt for a check up on my thyroid. Hashi is still my diagnosis. My doc has suggested I can have it out at my leisure. Very interesting. He checked my submental salavary gland and yep, it is swollen - he thinks its infected so I am back on antibiotics. Sucking on sour candy to relief the pressure (although its just mild pressure) and that seems to have helped a ton! I then went for my blood draw since he said it was time. He drew for TSH, FT3 and FT4. Remember, my stupid brain thought it a good idea to do a trial run off the Armour so I am eager for the results since I have been off meds for roughly 4 weeks.
My birthday is Sunday so I am hoping that the new breast results are not bad. The last time this happened, I freaked (I'm only 30 and Sunday will be 31) so I opted for a lumpectomy. Maybe this time I will opt for core biopsy. That is, if they can manage to find it again.
I seem to no be able to get out of this holding pattern that has been my hell for a year. Really have to consider some surgeries I guess. Its nice to know that my doc will take my demonized thyroid out if I choose, but it worries me, ya know. Then my crazy breast issue..... I have to ponder, which comes first...
Just my thoughts I guess.
