You know what, there is really not enough of it going around. Once you are diagnosed with cancer, optomism is the one thing you want to sourround yourself with. Dont read the scary stories, only allow in the success stories, etc.
Wow, whittie918, your optomism is fantastic - wish you could package that up and send me some!
Good for you!
You are so sweet. I did not take long to recoop in retrospect. And, I believe I'll be just fine. I can't tell you how I know, I just do.
Yikes! You're right, I think I'll stick with my scenario. Nothing personal, mind you! I hope everything is going well with you. I see in your journal that your energy levels are coming back. That has to be a relief, especially with two small children.
Your tumor moved your trach over, mine invaded it. I guess I'd rather have your Scenario. That to me makes it more believeable that yours is benign!
I'm so happy for you. Sounds like that endo is a keeper - tell him that he has an entire cyber-fan club now. :-)
Best of everything Friday!!
Those are great odds! I like your doctor's way of thinking - a detoured trachea is indeed cool, but it will be better on Friday when it's back to normal. =)
Best of luck!!
I was told told the same odds. Mine is pressing on my trachea and the feeling is making me crazy! For months now its felt as if someone is contstantly choking me! I actually describe it as "choking back the tears" feeling, which is how I have felt this this !@#$% nodule was found anyway!
I'm also having a lobectomy, but will ask my surgeon today about a frozen section biopsy or possibly taking the whole thing out to avoid two surgeries (incase it is "c").
I'll be thinking of you on Friday!

I LIKE your Doctor .. Let's go with those odds! YES!!!
I know what it feels like to have it pressing on trachea bcz I had that secondary non-thyroid lump that was 1cm big very close to the trachea and the pressure was gone when the lump was removed!
