Graves disease.....help!!!!!!

Okay, I have Graves disease...I had had it for almost 2 years (as I know of) I really haven't treated it at all. My doctor is an hour away and I have transportation issues....my symptoms are palpitations, shortness of breath, mood swings, hair falling out, extreme fatigue & night sweats. I also recently had a miscarriage eventhough my levels were better. My question is what can I do about this. I don't want to have RAI....

Well since you say that you really haven't treated it, I would say you should start. Can you get transport or find a closer endo? Maybe you can get bloowork drawn at a mearby clinic and have the results faxed to your endo. He can make med adjustments that way. I'm glad you are trying other options before rai. Lcarnitine is an excellent supplement to take, as well as lemon balm (you can find it at health food stores) when hyper. It did wonders for me.
