What dose are you on? Your body tends to heal those things that are most important first... perhaps your dosage isn't high enough.
If you have results for anything other than TSH, please post them, so we can see what your actual thyroid hormone levels are... You should be getting tested for Free T3 and Free T4, each time you have TSH tested. Please be sure to include reference ranges, as those vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
Side effects of thyroid medications are, typically, those of hypothyroidism, though some people do react to fillers/binders in the medications and Tirosint, being a gelcap has no fillers/binders to react to.
Just wondering how this worked out; just started Tirosint about three months ago and the leg pain and foot pain is awful, but I do sleep better and have less side effects than with Synthroid. Did notice my TSH went to 1.0 so it is better absorbed than Synthroid.
Muscle/joint aches/pains are often symptoms of hypothyroidism. What are your actual thyroid hormone levels? If you have a copy of your latest lab report, please post your results, here, for us to see. Please include reference ranges, which vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
Tirosint has no fillers/binders and is considered hypoallergenic, however, it's not unusual for symptoms to worsen or for new ones to appear when changing medications or dosages.
Additionally, since Tirosint doesn't have the fillers/binders that other thyroid meds have, it's absorbed more quickly and better than others, so some people find that they have to start on a lower dose than that which they were on before.
We'll be able to tell more once we see your actual hormone levels.
