I had a partial thyroidectomy about 5 weeks ago (and due for a completion at the end of January) due to papillary cancer (3.2 cm nodule on the left). I've never needed medicine, but I'm wondering if I were to become hypothyroid, could it already be possible (the nurse on the phone told me that it would be unlikely I'd go hypo so soon after the surgery)?
I'm starting to to feel very tired (but it could be related to shoveling snow or simply the winter season). I've got some dry skin, but maybe that's because it's winter. So, it's tough for me to know. I don't feel like myself (mainly just because I really lack energy right now). I got a blood test today, but what are the chances I could be hypothyroid at this point? Thanks!
