So I have exasperated all my medically related options.
I have gained over 30 pounds in one year (I am 25). I previously exercised two-three times a week, eat healthy, am depressed, low body temp all the time, sensitive to heat and cold, have dry skin, irregular menstruation, ovarian cysts, family history of thyroid disorders (my mother, her sister, and my father's sister), had a negative sleep study (with no disorders, apnea, hypopneas, etc), and a T4 test done which was at .85, as I understand is within normal ranges but is low normal. I have been seeing a personal trainer for the past two months and have lost no weight. My doctor says everything is fine. I think i have hypothyroidism based on all the above. What do I do next?
