I want to live!

Oh God! I have never posted here so much in my life... I am just at my wits end.... I cant take this c.r.a.p anymore. I am so depressed today! Crying a lot, taking my moods out on my boyfriend and just over all wish I was dead at times (dont worry not sucidial) Just keep saying to God to put me out of my misery...

I took my bad ood out on my b/f today and he totally did not deserve it! I feel so bad about that now aswel! I am so frecking annoyed that Im going through and that its so unfair. Jez like theres murderers and abusers out there living the life of luxary and then theres people who try to lead good law abiding lives like us and WE suffer...... Im sick of it! I feel like screaming!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Be firm with the Endo...dont rush in like a wounded bull as this tends to intimidate them lol.
Write EVERYTHING down and also state you are not leaving the consulting room until you have answers.
Most Endos/Docs are quite willing to discuss everything and are open to suggestions.....so my advice is ..

1. Suggest an ultrasound
2. Suggest an Uptake Scan
3. Suggest an increase of 25mcg stating that if you go Hyper, you will go back down to the former dosage.
4. Ask why you have cancer producing antibodies?
5. Ask if it is possible that you may have nodules..hence the request for an ultrasound.
6. Explain ALL symptoms.
7. Explain that you would like to be treated like a human being rather than a 'fruitcake' and explain that this is what has happened previously.
8. Explain that yes you do have anxiety BUT this only started when the thyroid problems did.
9. Ask the Endo to put himself in your shoes.
10. Thank him for his time and expertise (they love that) and speak calmly and clearly all the way through the consultation.

Research all you can....print out articles to show him and lastly, GOOD LUCK.

If this doesnt work then see another Endo.

Do you know what your antibody level was?  To be honest I don't think it matters how elevated it is, if it's high you have Hashi's...period!  My levels are VERY high and from what I heard the higher, the more difficult to treat.  Be a little more specific as to what you are feeling.  Is it still the anxiety?  You are not alone Jennifer, I am struggling really bad today!  Maybe we can lean on each other ;-)

Make sure the endo he sends you too specializes in thyroid...

You do not want one that deals primairly with diabetes, they will treat you by lab numbers.

Why have they not done an ultrasound if your throat is in pain?

I did not have any pain in my throat due to the thyroid mess i was in (graves/hyperthyroidism/goiter), maybe it is something totally different causing your pain, enlarged lymph nodes, salivary glands.

Your dr. said that he had never heard of a level of 1.0??? Change doctors...

My last level was .67, which is good. My primary agrees in keeping it under 1.0, but I don't have a thyroid anymore either.

Too me he should had increased your medication by .25 at least. What would it of hurt??
Get an ultrasound or CT scan of the throat, to me thyroid should not be painful but eveyrone is different.

What do you mean by "kinda of diagnosed with Hashi" in your first post?

If dr. believes its all depression, then why would he send you to an endo? There has to be something for him to make the referral that he found.
