Large lump, blood test normal, ultrasound shows water cyst
Hi everyone,
My mom is over the age of 40, she has had a large lump below just below the location of adams apple to the right side.
blood test was normal, ultrasound shows that its fluid filled cysts of some sort. biopsy has been done and waiting. it's been 3 days.
she experiences fatigue, cold flashes, muscle ache, weight loss, foggy vision at times, stomach cramp, indigestion.
doctor did not prescribe any medication but are there any over the counter drugs that she can take to ease the symptoms? are there any food or remedies that are help with thyroid related problems (

If cyst is benign it can be treated with PEI injection procedure (except if finger like growth is poresent inside of the cyst surgery is recommended)
Do you have the results of blood work? There's not a lot we can recommend not knowing if she's tending toward low (hypo) thyroid function or high (hyper) thyroid function. If you have labs, please post and include reference ranges.
