I didn't get to see any of the show because of the plane crash, but I will have to be in bed by the time it starts anyway (3:30 am comes quickly), so I hope the thread will still be available to read tomorrow as I'd sure like to see what everyone has to say.

AR- just a few times I heard thyroid and they didn't touch much on it as I thought. I was bummed -  BUT I would still like to go ahead and post the discussion anyway.

Coming together will be good and talking about all the hormones will be informative too - As we know the thyroid works together WITH all our hormones within our body. This could bring an aray of forums in on one post if you think about it!

We can still come together on labs - tests - doctors and becoming an advocant on our health issues. SO MUCH INFORMATION - I hope to get.

I will post the discussion  by 7pm The title will be "LIVE HORMONE CHAT NOW"

This discussion will have Dr. Park stopping by for one hour ( from 7pm until 8pm) but we can continue any additional conversations after too.

Well, they are wrong about "bio-identical" and "synthetic".

Synthroid, for example is bio-identical, and synthetic, at the same time.

Armour is natural, but it is not bio-identical.

Not that I'm trying to start a war, but "bio-identical" is a deceptive phrase, and they used in incorrectly on the show.

Oh, some doctor on tape said the same thing.

Halfway through the show, the only thing I can credit them with is not to just accept the doctor's word on everything.

I'm going to be at my son's class during this time!  :(  I was looking forward to this too as I have quite a few questions.  It would have worked out perfectly, but his teacher switched him into the younger group of kids as he's on their level for transition skills and developmental delays.  Good for MBear, not good for me.  :(
