Help!

I was recently told by doctor after 6 months of blood tests that I have an under active thyroid.

TSH 95.8
T4. 4.3

I am on 100mcg levothyroxine a day and most days feel ok.  Then I get bloated, have a racing heart feeling and feel overwhelmingly tired and achy.  Do you think there's a reason for this?  I am eating so healthy and only drinking water as caffeine seems to make me poorly.  Any ideas?

Ouch that is a high TSH number. Are you seeing an endocrinologist? A TSH that high would make me seek the advice of a specialist like an endocrinologist. Just a thought

What's the range on your T4?  Ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.

Is 100 mcg your initial dose?  That's a pretty high starting dose.  It's often better to start out a little low and increase gradually.

It's not unusual to have a few symptoms crop up when starting meds.
