Your T4 is low. I'd try getting that to about 50% of range. At that point, give it a little time to see if FT3 will continue to rise. If it doesn't, it's time to ask your doctor about adding T3 to your meds.
FT3 should be a higher percentage of its range than FT4 is of its. However, until FT4 is about 50% of range, you can't draw too many conclusions.
Ask for your increase.
I've been on 25 for probably a year or so. I am tired alot and can't seem to lose weight. Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately, your doctor has ordered total T3 and total T4. Next time, you should request FREE T3 and FREE T4, which give much more information.
That being said, your T4 is 31% of range, which is low of the 50% guideline. T3 is 8% of range, very low of the 50+% guideline.
TSH agrees that you are still hypo. It looks like you need an increase.
How long have you been on 25 mcg? How do you feel?
