Is it thyroid disease?

Hello everyone.
I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight into what is going on with my health. I became ill a few years ago. I had a few months where I dealt with nausea and weight loss. Then one day I just felt awful. My heart was racing out of my chest and I got rushed off to hospital with a heart rate of 170bpm. At this point my digestive system went into overdrive yet I was always eating. I was always hot and always sweating. I got headaches, felt dizzy and sick and stared having problems with my muscles being weak and my eyes being dry. I developed a tremor and sometimes my whole body would shake. I always felt like everything was sped up and felt detached from everything.
Fast forward to now and I have these symptoms for a few weeks at a time every few months. The rest of the time I do not feel well, but better than the times I have these spells. I have seen cardiologists, endocrinologists, neurologists and gastroenterologist she. All of them say it sounds like my thyroid, butvtests always come back normal. My TSH is normally in the low 1s, but last time I had it tested it was 0.5. Because the TSH is always normal they don't test other numbers, though the last time they did they said they were all normal. I've had two thyroid ultrasounds, one my left lobe was swollen, one my thyroid was normal size.
I've been tested for almost everything under the sun and all tests are normal.
Over the last six weeks I have put on 15lbs in weight and have developed terrible pain in my left shoulder, chest and lower neck and I am so tired.
I take heart medication to slow my heart rate and help with palpitations and have been on it since I first became ill.
Does anyone have any advice for me or any idea what could be going on?
Thanks in advance, Rox.

What other tests did they do, besides the TSH?  Please post the results so we can see what your levels actually were.  Also, please include reference ranges, with any results you post, since ranges vary from lab to lab and have to come from your own reports.

Have you had any antibody tests to determine whether you have Hashimoto's thyroiditis or Graves Disease?  If you've had antibody tests, please post those results, also.

Did either of the ultra sound reports indicate whether you have nodules on your thyroid?
