T4 and insomnia

Can T4 worsen insomnia?

If I try to increase my T4 amount my insomnia gets worse.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

I think you know some of my story.  I have tried just about everything and the side effects of meds are rough.

T4 meds- headaches, muscle fatigue, fast heart rate, feeling like I cannot breath, insomnia the list goes on.

T4 and T3 - all of the above but add dizziness and ringing in my ears.

Natural thyroid - initially do better but balance issues kick in and heart issues.

I just got back from vacation...had a bad time with WP thyroid and was given generic levo while on vacation. Which has given stomach issues and heart burn.

Maybe I have liver issues?

So I just don't know what to do.

My current symptoms...feel off balance, muscle fatigue, headache, feeling like it is had to breath, fast heart rate generally miserable.

I had being see a list of doctors...no help.  I am to stay with my PCP and Stephanie Gray.

Thanks!

Following is some info on insomnia and T4.

"Insomnia, Nervousness and Irritability
People with excess T4 typically also have an elevated level of T3. Excess T4 and T3 cause a hyperexcited mental state, leading to nervousness and irritability. This common symptom of elevated thyroid hormone levels resembles the feeling experienced after consuming excessive amounts of caffeine. Because the excited mental state proves continuous, people commonly experience chronic insomnia."

I also think you might get some useful info from this link.
