I need help.

I have all the symptoms for Hypothyroidism (except low libido).  I have had these for several years.  i.e. Hair loss, constipation, fatigue, muscle & joint paint, depressions (which is getting worse), extreeme sensitivity to cold, fatigue, heavy periods (I've had to have an ablasion to stop the abnormal heavy bleeding, I exercise 3 times a week - cardio & pilates (I haven't lost a pound and I've been doing this for months), dry skin, my hair might as well be stray, and my nails very week.  Also, my mother & grandmother (mom's mom) both have hypothyroidism.  All my tests are normal.  NORMAL!  (My mother's are to they only found her problem because she had a goiter) My doctor says I'm just depressed and maybe have fibromyalgia.  I say bunk.  Do the symptoms of another disease mimic hypothyroidism or am I just crazy.

B12 was normals too.  Didn't have a hormone test recently.  I did have an ablasion due to heavy bleeding.  I'm just frustrated because I feel like **** all the time.  And my doctor just keeps saying I'm depressed.  I don't feel depressed.  I feel tired and my hair is falling out & my I'm freezing all the time.  I go sit outside in 100 degree weather to warm up.

Its insane.

Sorry had my testing backwards

Follicular testing for female hormones are FSH and LH maybe an Estradiol and Progesterone test also would be helpful.

They did a faily good work up on you for thyroid. I don't see anything that stands out regarding thyroid issues.

There are many hormone tests available and I think you should have them dig a bit further.

An adrenal test and iron - B12 - calcium would be good. I am not sure of your age - but some femaile LSH and FH testing may be helpful too.
