Hi,
I think it is quite ok to take both. Glucosamine doesn't contain iodine, unless it states it on the bottle that it does.
Just take them separately, at least 2 - 3 hours apart.
I take both.

Has it been determined that your arthritis is related to your hypothyroidism? Does the thyroxine help the joint pain at all, or stop the progression of the arthritis? I was recently prescribed with Celebrex for RA, then found out that I had a TSH level of 71, so got on Levothyroxine. Whatever the cause of these two, I am wondering which one I will most likely have to live with for the rest of my life :(
My arthritis was really bad just before being diagnosed hypo and starting levo. It improved tremendously once my FT3 and FT4 returned to higher levels. I was amazed how much of it was thyroid related.
TSHxx, you'll definitely be living with the hypothyroidism for the rest of your life. Have you been tested for thyroid antibodies, TPOab and TGab? Elevated levels of one or both of these can indicate Hashi's, which, like RA, is an autoimmune disease. Once you have one, you are more susceptible to developing others.
