Have they checked your potassium levels? I know when my levels got below 3.4 I was fainting quite a bit. MY PCP definitely attributed the fainting spells to my low potassium. I would ask to have my ELECTROLYTES CHECKED. If it is your Potassium K Tabs and Spirolactin work good for me, on top of eating more veggies. Good luck!
I agree 100% with AR-10.
My mother is in the same situation as you are. Her TSH is 3.7 on meds, but she has symptoms of hypo. Instead her doctor put her on 3 high bp meds, antidepressant and a statin for high cholesterol!!
I'd be willing to bet your TSH is above a 3. Are you seeing and endo or PCP?
That may be your problem right there.
All three of those tests can be in the "normal range", and still be bad.
You should be getting a Free T3 test, and a Free T4 test. Not a total T4. Not a T3 uptake test. Free T3, Free T4. The results should be in the upper half of the range, but not at the top of the range.
Your TSH should be between 0.8 and 2.0.
4.0 is high enough to make you sick.
You need to get a copy of your tests and see what was run, and what are the numbers.
"Within normal range" is not good enough.
The doctor said they were in normal range.
What were the results of your TSH test?
