What is a TSH of 2.034

I have all the red flag's of Hypo Thyroid, losing so much hair, weight gain, alway's tired, feel pretty bad all the time, the list goes on and on.....I have been tested just 2 weeks ago, and my TSH was 2.034 --  I was 3.053 18 months ago.
HELP HELP HELP....I have no idea what's going on. My Dr. seems to think I need antidepressant's, which I tried several, and I felt worse. My sister is Hypo, and she had to fight to get the doctor to help her. She was given Rx and feels better. My doctor doesn't seem to listen to me when I give him a list of how I feel. I just want to know what to do.
I need someone to help me. Thank you so much

Relying on TSH alone to diagnose potential thyroid problems is the wrong thing to do.  TSH test results can be very inconsistent, especially since it varies a lot during the day, from high in a.m. to lower in p.m.  Smilerdeb is right on to say that you need free T4 and especially free T3 tests.  In the interim, if you would like to get an idea of your metabolism/thyroid levels, check your temperature several times a day for several days and compare to the optimal of 98.6.  If yours falls much below 98.6, that is another indication of hypo t and the need for meds. By the way, based on the minimal info on your doctor from your post, I'd say you probably need to find a good thyroid doc.

You can have thyroid symptoms but it doesn't always show up in your blood tests for a long time. So you have to keep pushing with docs to do frequent checks until it shows up. Unfortunately, there is a big struggle to get docs to treat you seriously on symptoms alone until the condition shows up in your blood. You have to keep pushing and not give up to get answers. Good luck.

Can you pst them with the reference ranges.
