Which NDT thyroid meds are left that are safe to take?

I'm having to consider stopping NP Thyroid...it's just not stable enough anymore. On my latest refill, I suddenly can't sleep after sleeping well on last bottle...I'm not even sure what my options are anymore...thoughts? Thanks!

You could try Armour Thyroid, or as an option, just go to a T4 and T3 generic, at the same amounts, or close, to  what you were previously getting in your NP Thyroid.

Thanks, Gimel...After I posted that I realized Armour was probably all that was left. I crashed on that back in it's reformulation days just over 10 years ago so I'm a little afraid (the fillers also) I'm not really sure what a T#/T4 generic even is but I'll check it out!

I'm wondering how folks on Armour these days are doing on it. Med changes are the worst!

I just meant that you could use Synthroid or Levothyroxine along with a generic T3 med, and adjust either one as needed.
