Different results can be due to different labs. I know for me my TSH was 5.5 through one lab and then 3 weeks later was 8.7 through another lab. Or it could have just been the time difference.
It would be right to make sure they tested for them. When thyroid disease is actually autoimmune thyroid disease - it can be a bit more tricky for some.
Hiya
I don't think I have had any anti-body tests.
I'll have to find my results and let you know what they were.
Thanks
Well your doctors are doing the right thing and repeating the tests. You don't want to be put on various meds - just to cover up the problem - IF it is something that can be worked out on it's own eventually.
Did you have antibody testing? TSI - or TPOab tests? The antibodies - if you are positive may be putting you in this position until they settle. ( which is quite long for some people)
Since you have had a few tests - can you list them ?
Hiya, intolerable to heat, feeling nervous/anxious, eating alot, but still lose a bit of weight and underneath my arms always feel a bit damp.
Have to keep having blood tests every 3months so the doctors can see if there is a pattern before they put me on any treatment?
Mine were like that, TSH was high, normal now high again....Maybe your thyroid is telling you its about to go wacko on you! Needless to say there is something wrong! You should discuss it with your doc... Have you any symptoms??
In order to provide any meaningful response, we need to know the actual results from your numerous thyroid tests, along with the listed ranges and the dates of the testing.
