HEY! I never thought about my anxiety being related to the thyroid! I had BAD problems with that in September (when we first started checking things) and am now on prozac....I forget what I am "heading to do"..like going downstairs to do something that I thought of upstairs and forgetting before I get there. I have also had an elevated heart rate, cramps and aches, puffiness under my eyes and exhaustion during the day and sometimes insomnia at night
Ask for a thyroid antibody test. You can have normal, as well has high and low thyroid level results--depending on when you test-- if your thyroid antibodies are elevated. Hope you feel better soon.
And Darksuns is right--find a good endo.
You shouldn't have to convince anyone. Any endo worth their salt knows that. Everyone's normal is different. CCNine said her good-feeling normal is 1.5, yet at 1.5, I feel terribly hypo. Mine has to be below 1 to feel good. Your levels are a very personal thing!!! You need a good endo! :) Good luck!!!
