yeah for the past few days i thought i just had strep again, but my left earlobe went numb yesterday.  i have gauges ears and just recently went to a size 00.  i've been using wood gauges so i thought they swelled while i was in the shower and thats why theyve been feeling funny, so i researched and didnt find anything as far as numbness and gauging then i saw this.  i've had what i thought was strep throat about 20-30 times in my life (i'm 18) but this time it's different.  my tonsils are swelled to the point where they're squishing the dangly thing in my throat and i have huge bumps where frankensteins bolts would be. i cant swallow anything
