hashimotos thyroiditis

got fna back yesterday can some one tell me what it means the doc did not explain
nodule in the superior pole of right lobe of thyroid gland
features consistent with a follicular neoplasm with predominance of hurthle cells
moderate number of lymphocytes and neutrophils are present mixed with a few pigment-laden macrophages
papillary structures are not identifield
i know i have hashimotos thyroiditis and on 50 mil of levothyroxine
please tell me what this means and what would be the treatment

i have done some research but will do more. i think i would rather have them take out so i could get on with a normal life or some what  what do you think?

Hashimoto can bring on the formation of nodules. most are not cancerous and your report doesn't have anything on it that indicates these are in that formation.

The treatment would be the same as what you are doing in most cases. Medication for the hypothyroidism and a 6 moth re-evaluation on another US scan.

It would be wise to look at Hashimoto research and see all the options out there available to you.
