THE THYROID DISORDERS TRACKER is here! Go to MyMedHelp and

and then hit "trackers" ... you will see another icon for "trackers" on the far right hand side.  Click on that tracker and you will see the Thyroid Disorders Tracker!

This is a wonderful addition for us here, on Thyroid ....

Take a look at my profile.  I added the tracker!

Let's start using it together and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a message.

We were able to add the thyroid tracker to your profile. You can check it out by going to My MedHelp and then the Trackers tab. Click on Tracker Settings to set up the tracker as you like. We didn't know how you wanted to set it up, so everything is set as default. Let us know if you run into any problems using it. Thanks!

The problem with normal ranges for Free T4 and Free T3 is, there aren't any. Different labs use different ranges. You could put yours in a journal, I suppose.

I would like to see the journal entries NOT show up below the tracker. I would rather click on the journal icon on the graph and have that particular journal appear. All these journal entries showing at the bottom are getting in the way.

How about making measurements for Fee T3 and FT4 in pmol/l instead of mcg/l?
And putting the normal ranges..

You can also put in as a journal entry (along with event Med Change) the change in dosing amount .. doesn't have to be an actual Med Change from med to med. (Synthroid to Armour) to use the Med ChangeEvent .. use it for DOSING CHANGES too!

i.e.,  Synthroid 88mcgs is what prompts you to go the tracker

Journal Entry:  Med Dosing decreased to Synthorid 88mcgs

What you can do for TT or PT, etc., is create a journal entry for the "event".  That will work in the interim I thnk.

Quite a few members suggested the Thyroid Tracker .. I cannot take total credit *blushing* ....

Hi.  I think this is great!   I am very new to thyroid issues so alot of the test I don't even know what they are now.  LOL.  A DAAA.

From what I understand though it is hard to regulate between hypo and hyper so its a good way to watch out for yourself.  Plus I have a hard time remembering when I go to the Dr. q couple of months, "when I felt what" months later.  Great way to chart everything.

Thanks;  Amy

Under "Events" or "Treatments" there really should be a "thyroidectomy" or "lobectomy" choice plus ones for RAI, Thyrogen, etc.

Just my $0.02.....

Great feature overall!

If you want to print out your tracker follow these easy steps:

*  Right Click on the Tracker
*  Save the Image to your Desktop to send to someone; or
*  Open your saved image and print it out

Remember, you can move the timeline back & forth to get the desired timeframe in the printout.  In other words, if you need more timeline than is shown in your captured image, repeat this process using different dates and you'll have a comprehensive printout to take to your Doctor!

PM me with any questions .. Cheryl

I encourage you to use the Thyroid Tracker and show your Dr. at your next appt!!

I have found that working with specialists if you chart your concerns, progress, in a diary/calendar form they see it in a quantitative bird's eye view and oftentimes [ listen ] to your concerns with more validation.  This is my personal experience not only with my own care, but that of my children and numerous specialist visits through the years.

Why not use the Thyroid Tracker and then SHOW YOUR DR. at your NEXT APPT!    Many of the Dr's have a laptop with them in the room!

This way they will see visually your symptoms and TSH and any changes in any labs you track!!!!

I'm going to do this .. I'm working on trying to find my labwork to enter some history.

The thyroid tracker is absolutely awesome .. THANKS MEDHELP!

I too thank med help for this tracker.  I can keep my thoughts written down, and how i feel daily.  I am on the way to low thyroid as i had the oblation in Feb.  Last TSH was 0.8 but forgot to get the FT4, but doc said it was low.  I still have the waves of neasua, my low back hurts and is causing discomfort in the upper back thighs, and calves.  I still walk for 30 min a day, but my legs are not happy campers.  Have to keep going tho, or be stopped moving in my tracks.  Won't have that.
     Again thanks Medhelp

I also just entered my info.  My second round of blood tests was this morning and I'm curious to see if anything has changed since March.  Thanks for setting up the tracker.  It's a great help.
