spine?

For the past 6 months i have had headaches throughout the day and i feel light headed alot of the time, also making my vision a little blurry sometimes.
This started when i woke up one day and my body had gone numb and ever since then i have had these symptoms
i do have hypo thyroid i have gone to the hospital and they have found nothing wrong in any of my blood draws.
I did get an xray of my spine and it showed straightening of my 2 top disk in my spine
could that be the cause of this or would that not make all these symptoms happen?

You can try Dr. Rosen's expert forum on back and spine surgery

And I believe there may be a chiropracter forum too as another thought along with the great posts you've gotten here!

i just went the the chiro today and explained my symptoms
he said its very likley to be my spine and everything out of place i feel a little better but we will see if that last.
i do want to get my blood drawn though to make sure all my levels are fine and to also get tested of hashimotos.
do you have any other ideas of what this could be

If you had your thyroid zapped it is unlucky to be Hashimoto's Disease. It is an Auto-immune disease where it sees the thyroid as an invader and basically kills it off with lovely side effects, as I mentioned. You get an thyroid anti-bodies test done for it.
It does sound like the spine could be the main culprit.
Good luck with the chiro and let us know how you feel after it.
Cheers.

Yah im going to the chiropractor tomorrow to get my neck checked.because i know that my upper disc in my spine are straightened so im thinking it might be whats causing my problems. My iron levels are actually pretty fine to i take iron pills once a day to make sure they stay normal.
I was just trying to figure out what things it might be if i should look more on the vertebrae side or thyroid.
i have never been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease.how do you get checked for that.
I know that my thyroid is hypo now i got my thyroid radiated when i was 13. so about 8 years ago.

It might be possible that the two vertebrae maybe pinching the nerves running from the head.  Do you have Hashimoto's Disease as well? This is notorious for causing the same kind of symptoms you mentioned. I know I still get blurry vision days along with a headache on those days too.
How are your iron levels too? If low they too can cause vision and headache and even a numb feeling to the body.
  Let us know.
