thyroid uptake scan

Hello i had a thyroid uptake scan today.  I have not seen the results, but today i was told that the uptake was 1.1 and that was very low.  Normal is 5 to 10.   Can anyone tell me what this means exactly please?

Yeah, uptakes usually do not tell you a whole lot other than you are hypo or hyper, which you already knew.

A slow uptake is generally hypo.  I took in way to much iodine too fast (hyper).
