Joint pain in the jaw

I have recently started having random joint pain, shoulder, wrist, hand, knee and have found that resting the joint in a splint or brace reallly helps.  However, the latest pain is in my jaw - this happened last night.   Anybody else had this?

sounds like arthritis however in the jaw is TMJ. it is very common and caused by the wear and tear from chewing and what not over time. it is inflamation in that particular joint. steroids or antiinflammatories often help

Random joint pain, including in the jaw, can be caused by Lyme Disease.  Have you seen a doctor yet?  Only about half of patients recall a tick or a rash.
