Excessive Talking/Singing triggers Gagging, Retching and Vomiting

I seriously need some answers or suggestions

It seems like the overuse of my vocal chords or Larynx, triggers my gag reflex. I perform many long speeches and struggle to get through them without randomly gagging. After about 20 minutes of talking, it they will hit me. If I try to continue with the speech, I will just continue to gag until i throw up a little bit.

I am a very anxious person and for the most part have my anxiety completely under control. I will usually take my anti-anxiety medication before these speeches and when i'm just practicing by myself. However, I can have no nervousness what so ever but these dry heaves will still hit me after a lot of talking

What could possibly be the connection between speaking and gagging?
