Thanks, I'll give that a try!
if it is fermented food that you are craving, this is not a bad thing. You might need something like sauerkraut to help feed the good bacteria in your body and bring it back into balance. Maybe its just boring not having sugar in your diet, and salt is the next best thing?!
Unfortunately most cravings come from your body telling you that you are lacking in some form of nourishment or another. because your purposefully depriving yourself of these types of food your body is just letting you know that. Especially since its been 4 - 5 months.
For it to take this long for the yeast to die off is rare, I would consult your local doctor for a medication that will assist. Also I would check your diet, There may be foods you are eating with natural sugars and salts etc in them that you may not be aware of. Sugar (any type artificial or natural) is all the same to your body.
There are nutrients including sugars and salts that your body does need too. so a diet getting rid of them all in your system for too long may not be the best thing for your health. again, consult your local doctor and a dietician as well.
Sounds like the yeast, as it dies off, it wanting nourishment, most of the foods that you mentioned are processed and/or fermented, these are a Candida yeast's best friend. They also have hidden sugars in them, Candida is a tricky yeast infection to get rid. Try to avoid the salt and these foods as much as possible.
