face and ear pressure and mouth problems

hello everybody,
for the past six months i have felt like i am dying! let me start from the beginning! back in feb. of this year i got the flu and bronchitis after about a month the symptoms really never went away, went back to the E.R  and they ran test on my heart  lungs ect. sent me on my way. finally i got insurance got a doctor went there and told him everything, my symptoms are this pressure in both ears, numbness in both cheeks, loppyness, shortness of breath and a cough and a tickle in the back of my throat and this is what i don't understand inside my mouth on both sides of my tongue there is enlarged bumps that now hurt, closer to the back  and my taste buds are all screwed up every thing taste horable for the past six months and some burning in the mouth were it is sore. so my doctor told me i had allergies and sent me to a alergentist, he laughed me out of the building then my doc. sent me to a ent same deal checked me out and sent me on my way with no answerer,so three days ago my doc sent me to a numerologist and he seems to think that i got a infection in my spine left over from the flu and bronchitis and wants me to go in for a spinal tap,  does any of this make any since? and why have i had to go though this for six months? should i have the spinal tap? and could anybody else have an idea of what is going on with me im tired and angy of this going on for so long, PLEASE HELP!

oh yeah i forgot to mention the allergist had a cat scan done on me for sinuses and it came back negative i also didn't mention that the ringing in my ears is unbearable. it seems like its all connected somehow, i have  had a cough for about 5 months and every time i cough my mouth starts all its stuff  and my ears start to pressurize and ring and the pressure in the face and then the fun part! loppyness

Hi,there.
Basically I think that you are suffering from soft tissue injuries around your neck and occipital area, please special check your Mention scapula muscle ,Supraclavicular fossa and Cervical transverse (C2-C4) to find any sensitive tissue. I don't think it's spinal problem but it near to spine. Good luck!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the forum!
This sounds typically like sinusitis, based entirely on your symptoms. Try these simple things. They may help. Take steam twice a day. Do valsalva maneuver (done by taking a deep breath and blowing while pinching your nostrils and closing your mouth). This will open up the eustachean tubes connecting the ear with mouth cavity and equalize the pressure there. Repeat this 3-4 times. Do this twice a day. Gargle with warm saline water twice a day.
Take another opinion from another allergist and neurologist before going for spinal tap. You could be having allergies to common allergens like pollen, mold, dust, pet dander. Alternatively you could consult a chest specialist.
You could also be having GERD or gastric reflux. The other possibility is inflammation of salivary glands of the mouth.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
